ANNA + PAT by Kelly Tunney

Tell us a little about yourselves, what you do, what you love, what is unique about you and your relationship:

We met in Sydney but it took a chance encounter in London’s Clapham High Street to kick our story off. From London we moved to New York for several years, only returning home for the birth of our daughter.

Tell us about your special day, was there a specific theme or style? Tell us a little about the selling, styling, and some of your favourite details:

We didn’t have a specific style, we just tried to keep it classic but with an edge. I’ve always loved the nostalgia of Balmoral’s Rotunda and the views for Public Dining Room can’t be beaten.

Tell us about your main outfits:

I bought my dress at a pop up in NYC. It was the second dress I’d tried on and I knew straight away it was the one for me. Rime was there that day which made it extra special. Pat only had strong preferences for the music choice, it wasn’t as hard as I had expected to convince him to wear a navy tux.

What were some of the most memorable/unique moments from the day?

Being surrounded by our friends and family who had travelled from around the world to be there. We’d never seen everyone in one place and that was really special for us.

Any advice for other couples planning to spend the rest of their lives together?

The wedding is the easy part!
