Blooms of the week – On My Hand
If you know of me and my business, you’d know that I’m obsessed with Autumn. I think it’s because it’s a season we florists don’t get to utilise that much. Blame it on the weather.
Recently while walking around my mother in law’s garden (she has the most perfect garden, where I was married) I was drawn to the texture and colours of the Leucodendron bushes. I then found bushes of nandina and purple salvia and plucked little sprigs to create a different kind of adornment for the lapel of your chosen man.
Finished off with swatches of Silk & Willow ribbon in antique gold these buttonholes are the epitome of Autumn’s colour palette.
