Real Wedding: Hannah & Tai – Photography by India Earl

Categories: Weddings-Real Wedding: Hannah & Tai - Photography by India Earl We fell in love pretty quickly two years ago and our bond has grown stronger during our travels together. We’ve chased daylight in Iceland, island-hopped in the Maldives and Sri Lanka, run around India, hiked through Patagonia, and road tripped through national parks, connecting over a love of adventure and willingness to try new things. It has been an incredible journey.

Tell us a little about yourselves, what you do, what you love, what is unique about you and your relationship... 5 years ago, Henrik and I first met during high school in Sweden at only 16 years of age. Three years later, after Henrik proposed to me at a beautiful spa in Stockholm, we wanted to travel, see and experience a different part of the world. We moved to Australia with absolutely no clue where we would end up.

We love the outdoors and wanted to reflect this in our ceremony. The location for the ceremony at Thurlby Domain was perfect with green lawns and gardens in a rambling old farm setting.

Homecoming Ceremony: Sunny & Julius – Photography by Wild & Grace

Categories: Weddings-Homecoming Ceremony: Sunny & Julius - Photography by Wild & Grace Tell us a little about yourselves, what you do, what you love, what is unique about you and your relationship… I grew up in Papua New Guinea and when I met Julius he mentioned he volunteered there. It struck a cord with me to meet someone away from the place I grew up. We clicked so easily because we had so much in common. Julius made the first move and although compared to others we hadn’t dated for ages we quickly realised this was the real deal.

  • Sarah- I am a nurse at the Austin Hospital in the Intensive Care Unit, and I also work in a nurse educator role on the Liver Transplant ward. This year I have been studying my Masters of Nursing Practice- writing a minor research thesis on a study I have been working on. I have been nursing for over 7 years and love my job!
  • Joel- I am one of three Victorian area operations manager for Young Guns- a company that unpacks shipping containers in various company factories nationally.
We both love the beach and going on holidays and weekends away. We are both very close to our families and friends and very social. We are always out and about doing things. We are typical Melbournians that love getting up on a Saturday and taking our dog Archie for a walk up to our local coffee shop for brunch.

Real Wedding: Toni & Piet – Photography by Ephemeral Creative

Categories: Weddings-Real Wedding: Toni & Piet - Photography by Ephemeral Creative Tell us a little about yourselves, what you do, what you love, what is unique about you and your relationship… We became engaged while living in London. We had been living, working and travelling about Europe from there for two years. It was a very impressive proposal on Piet’s behalf. We were on holiday with my Dad and his partner in Slovenia. Piet had graciously given my Mum and Dad the heads up and got down on two knees (not begging - just stability) in a row boat on Lake Bled. This place is seriously a fairy-tale, google it and you will see the island with a Disney-like castle in the background.

Tell us a little about yourselves, what you do, what you love, what is unique about you and your relationship… We met on Tinder late 2015 and were texting back and forth for a while. Then Vanderson drove nine hours for our first date and charmed my heart immediately. We joke that he is ‘over-charming’. He even text me after our first date saying he had told his friends in Brazil that he was going to marry me. I am susceptible to flattery but I wanted to know what his visa status was before agreeing to go on another date!
