Real Wedding: Talitha & Gunnar – Photography by Damien Milan

Tell us a little about yourselves, what you do, what you love, what is unique about you and your relationship… I work as a barista and Gunnar is the head of church administration. It's a crazy story how my husband and I met. I flew to Norway more than 3 years ago for my best friend's wedding. There I met her soon to be brother-in-law (and little did I know, my future husband!). For him it was love at first sight. For me not so much. It took a little convincing, but 7 months later he surprised me in Australia to win my heart, and that's exactly what he did. After a year of long-distance I took a chance on love and moved to Norway.

We have been together for an amazing 4.5 years and engaged for 16 months. Ramon had planned to propose on a holiday that we had planned, but one Wednesday morning when we were at home in our pyjamas still, he decided it was the right moment, and popped the question then. And it was so much more perfect that way. We’re very happy that we got to have that moment completely private, it’s so much more ‘us’!

Categories: Weddings-Real Wedding: Shelley & Ed - Photography by Rachel Wybrow Tell us a little about yourselves, what you do, what you love, what is unique about you and your relationship… Ed and I have been together for just over six years and met through a mutual friend on a night out on the town! After our low-key engagement, we decided to set a date six months from then. We wanted a small wedding with our family and close friends and decided Tekapo would be ideal. I am originally from Oamaru so knew the South Island setting would be perfect and we are hoping to move back down South soon!
