Foodscapes

Unconventional tablescapes where food and flora merge as art.

We’ve been thrilled to witness the rise of foodscapes—unconventional tablescapes where food and flora blend seamlessly into art. This playful styling movement is making its way into more and more occasions, bringing unexpected joy and a fresh appreciation for everyday objects.

The Breakfast II by Oh, Maria Flores

Over the past year, bread as a medium for sculpture has been popping up more frequently, but we can’t forget one of the pioneers of the bread installation movement: Oh, Maria Flores from Portugal. Her Breakfast 2 tablescape remains an iconic example of this creative trend. A true master of the art of tablescape installations, Maria is a gifted florist who often incorporates everyday items—bread, lemons, and other fruit bowl staples—into her designs, using them to create striking shapes and add impactful texture to her stunning creations. @ohmariaflores

Baroque-inspired Tablescape by Herrlich Dining

This baroque-inspired tablescape, a stunning collaboration between @herrlich.dining and @studiolilo_ 🤍, drew inspiration from the work of @omergilony. What we admire most is their thoughtful, responsible, and sustainable approach to working with food. Every grape used in the design was juiced to create grape juice, while the objects sourced for the setup were repurposed as Christmas gifts—an artful blend of creativity and sustainability.
