Rotorua’s first five-star hotel The Pullman Rotorua is our newest crush for stylish stays in beautiful Aotearoa, New Zealand.

We recently visited and the hotel is simply outstanding. Located right in the centre of town it’s an easy minutes’ walk to eat street and the waterfront.

The Hotel staff are super friendly and accommodating with our food, they make superb coffee and the decor was fresh and clean, with a great atmosphere. The suite on the top floor that is used for bridal and occasions had a beautiful view over the lake, with a bath that had amazing views.

A highlight was definitely the Polynesian Spa, it was so relaxing soaking in the thermal waters.

We had a gorgeous dinner at The Grill one night, where the staff were very attentive and looked after us well with organic red wine and delicious food.

We were travelling with kids and they loved the trip up the Gondola and the Zip Line, the first time for them. The Luge rides were a total hit, and we finished with a lovely dinner at the Stratosfare Restaurant to top off an amazing day.

The first international five-star hotel in the Bay of Plenty region, Pullman Rotorua is a dynamic and cosmopolitan hotel for the high-end domestic and international traveller on a trip to New Zealand’s popular tourism mecca.

General manager Richard Bungeroth is ready to deliver the five-star experience to Rotorua and lead a team of over 100 staff.

Pullman Rotorua is perfectly suited for travellers, especially families, couples and business leaders looking for a world-class stay in one of the country’s most attractive tourist destinations. The city has beautiful forests and lakes for mountain biking, luging and water sports, spas for relaxation and wellness, and renowned geothermal attractions. No matter what visitors are in Rotorua to experience, we’re in the centre of it all at the Pullman and we’re addressing a need at the top end of the market which wasn’t being met before,” says Bungeroth.

There’s no doubt that this contemporary stunner will be at the top of everyone’s luxury must-do – and not just through summer seasons – with the geothermal parks and hot springs enticing visitors during the winter seasons too.
