The grazing table is the perfect way to serve guests before the main wedding reception or at any event for that matter…
The idea was a kind of “grazing table”, where guests could help themselves to whatever takes their fancy, and hopefully there was plenty to do that! I wanted it to look like a 17th Century Dutch still life painting painting, literally spilling over with all kinds of decadent and humble food in warm, rich colours and a multitude of textures and layers. I tried to make use of seasonal and local produce wherever possible, with some of it contained in mismatched but complimentary bowls, baskets and on boards, and the rest arranged beautifully straight onto the table.
