Susannah, the lead photographer at Aletheia Wedding Photography, first began capturing the togetherness and festivity of food—documenting the connections formed around the table. This naturally evolved into storytelling centred on friendship, celebrating the bonds of female companionship and the essence of a "soulfriend" story.

Before embarking on her career in photography, Susannah worked as a doctor, specialising in plastic and reconstructive surgery. She also spent several months in New York City training in ballet and musical theatre, immersing herself in Broadway shows by day and the city’s vibrant musical theatre singing bars by night.

These diverse experiences—rooted in relationships, emotions, communication, and creativity—shape the way she approaches wedding photography. She focuses on the unique connections between people, the depth of their relationships, and the balance between intimacy and celebration.

Now based in Cyprus with her Cypriot husband, Susannah finds echoes of her Northern Irish upbringing in her new home—particularly in the values of friendship, family, and hospitality (though the weather is, of course, quite different!). Susannah is perfectly positioned to cover weddings across Europe and particularly loves shooting in Cyprus and Greece.
