Each of us was enjoying being independent in our lives at the time, but we were both quickly enamoured with one another and felt very early on that we had found our special person.

We wanted our wedding to be classic and timeless black-tie — for everyone to feel as though they were in Europe at a romantic Lake Como wedding

We went into the olive grove, and there he had laid out with little stones, “Marry me?”

We wanted our wedding day to feel formal, elegant and emotional, and the following day to feel playful and energetic.

Before I knew it, Julian had walked over to me and kissed me – in the car park, rain and all!

At the lighthouse, Kanishk was standing there with the song “Harvest Moon” by Neil Young, my favourite song, playing in the background as he proposed.

During this time I think we both realised that it’s not every day you come by someone who you feel so comfortable and yourself with, and we eventually found our way back to each other.
