The Libraries Lounge

These one-of-a-kind spaces are meticulously crafted to offer a distinctive setting for select weddings and exclusive gatherings. Each room is thoughtfully designed, blending historical elements with contemporary aesthetics, creating an unforgettable ambience for guests. Whether you’re hosting an intimate wedding or a private event, The Libraries provide a sophisticated and unique backdrop that reflects the hotel’s rich heritage and artistic flair.

The Papuke Room
Filled with light and adorned with the textures of ancient native timber and century-old brick, The Papuke Room is a spacious and versatile venue. It is perfect for hosting seated dinners, cocktail functions, presentations, meetings, and gatherings. Capacity: Up to 50.
kingi Private
kingi Private is a sophisticated private dining and conference space that combines the relaxed warmth of kingi with the refined elegance of The Libraries at The Hotel Britomart. The room exudes luxury and features an expansive raw-edge swamp kauri slab table beneath a shimmering fish-scale chandelier. The glass-boxed ‘larder kitchen’ offers diners fascinating glimpses of chefs preparing seasonal dishes, enhancing the culinary experience.

The Landing Suites
The Hotel Britomart’s five suites, named after bays at The Landing, a luxury destination in New Zealand’s Bay of Islands, are perfect for elopements or micro-weddings. Three of these exquisite suites are located on the top floor of The Hotel Britomart. The remaining two are housed in a glass pavilion constructed atop the adjacent century-old Buckland Building, accessible through the hotel’s fifth floor. Each suite offers a unique and immaculate setting, ideal for intimate celebrations.

The Kronfeld Room
Located in the 5 Green Star Hayman Kronfeld building opposite the Britomart train station, The Kronfeld Room boasts century-old exposed brick textures, high ceilings, and ample natural light. This generous and versatile space spans from Customs Street to Galway Street, providing a seamless indoor-outdoor flow through its Galway Street entrance. Ideal for evening events, accommodating seated dinners, cocktail functions, and networking events with ease.
