‘You are the Sky’ is a homage to mountains, specifically Nepal in the Himalayas, home to the world’s tallest and most spectacular peaks. Mountains have always been a place where people have gone to meditate and connect with the divine.
We, like those before us have found, are the silent observer of nature: the snowy mountains, the flowing rivers and the clouds above. Nepal has such a rich culture; birthplace of the Buddha and dwelling place of many Hindu gods. It is also a country of incredible beauty – untouched nature is surrounded by towering majestic peaks shimmering in the sunlight and framed with the deepest blue sky. Since the 1960s and the days of the hippie trail from London to Goa, via Kathmandu, these tranquil mountains have captured the hearts of so many adventurers who love the sense of unlimited freedom. I enjoyed the same feeling on this shoot, camera in hand I flew high above the clouds with multimedia artist Rodali Dutta from Delhi, and spent time in the magical golden temple of Patan with Yoga therapist Yana Kalinkina. I am excited to share these images with you.

Volcanoes are close to our hearts, we grew up in Auckland a city surrounded by many. When we were designing this collection, Zoe and I stayed for a few nights at the Candi Dasa in Bali, right at the foot of Mt Agung. Our dear friend Ratu told us amazing stories about her experience of the big eruption there in 1963, and that very night our beds shook dramatically as millions of cubic meters of lava moved deep beneath us …we woke up knowing that we needed a volcano in our mountain story!
KATHMANDU –Â NECKLACE & EARRINGS
Kathmandu has long captured the hearts of so many adventurers, who have all sensed the feeling of unlimited freedom this city holds. Kathmandu retains this air of adventure and freedom, with its heady mix of ancient temples both Hindu and Buddhist surrounded by snow-capped peaks breaking the horizon. This city has been a meeting point for travellers for thousands of years.
 PATAN – RING
Patan and Lalitpur have always held a special place in my heart. The first time I went to this magical ancient town I was totally stunned by the craftsmanship of their metal work. The Newari inhabitants have developed technologies and designs that have influenced all of Asia. Their bronze statues provided the blueprint for all religious cast statues throughout Asia. The Newari’s also were the first to produce the pagoda style of roof that’s so popular across Asia.
POKHARA –Â EARRINGS
This beautiful town is nestled at the lakeside, with a back drop of the superb Annapurna mountain range. The Pokhara Valley is filled with beauty as far as the eye can see. From the rolling green hills to the shining lake waters that cast reflections of the majestic Himalayan mountain ranges. The shape of the geometric drop of this earring naturally moves gently on the hoop, capturing attention in a understated manner.
AQUAMARINE – FINE RINGS & EARRINGS
This beautiful blue-green crystal is a part of the Beryl family. Its crystal system is hexagonal and we have decided to maintain its natural form in our unique Zoe & Morgan cuts. Aquamarine is cooling and calming, it brings us in touch with our subconscious and aids clear communication by stimulating the throat chakra, Vishuddha. Our Aquamarine gets its rich deep tone from the Santa Maria mine in Minas Gerais, Brazil. Every stone is different, so each piece made with it is unique.
TOURMALINE – FINE RINGS & EARRINGS
This stone holds special childhood memories of when our father, Douglas, used to take us on stone buying adventures to India. Even as small children and we would always search for vibrant Tourmaline crystals. Known as one of the best stones for healing dues to its infinite array of colours, Tourmaline really has a tone for everyone. In this collection we have used Tourmaline from Brazil and Afghanistan. Focusing on the green and pink shades which are known to activate Anahata, the heart chakra – the green is considered to support unconditional love and the pink shade is beneficial for the sensual aspect of love.
