A dialogue between elements, forming a single whole
Maison Margot remains a Together Journal favourite, and each season, theirs is the show we anticipate most at New York Bridal Fashion Week. For Spring Summer 2027, Collage continues that momentum with a collection that feels both assured and considered, bringing together contrasting elements into a singular, refined vision.

At its core, Collage explores balance. Structured forms are softened through movement, while moments of embellishment are offset by restraint. The designers work with a clear sense of intention, allowing each look to contribute to a cohesive narrative rather than competing for attention. There is a quiet confidence throughout, one that feels instinctive rather than imposed.

Silhouettes are defined by precision. Crisp taffeta bodices hold their shape against fuller skirts, creating volume without weight. In contrast, slip-inspired gowns offer a more pared-back approach, cut cleanly and finished with subtle detailing. Lace appears with a lightness of touch, often layered with dimensional floral appliqué to introduce texture without overwhelming the form.

The collection moves fluidly between traditional bridal cues and more contemporary expressions. A structured mini, finished with delicate crystal accents, feels particularly relevant for the modern wedding wardrobe, while cathedral-length veils extend the line of the body, adding softness and movement as they trail behind.

A standout moment comes in the form of a strapless taffeta ballgown, finished with a sculptural bow and discreet pockets. It captures the essence of the collection, refined, deliberate and quietly commanding. The craftsmanship is evident in the precision of its construction and the clarity of its proportions.

Beyond the runway, the presentation is further elevated through the lens of photographer Alexandra Cohen. Her imagery brings a sense of intimacy to the collection, capturing each look in a way that feels lived in rather than staged. There is an emotive quality to the photographs, offering a glimpse of how these pieces might exist within the rhythm of a real wedding day. It is this sense of romance and realism that adds depth to the collection, allowing it to resonate beyond the show itself.
With Collage, Maison Margot delivers a collection that feels both cohesive and contemporary, reinforcing why it continues to be one of the most compelling names on the NYBFW schedule.
