Introducing two gloriously sensual and vibrant floral based fragrances from Lanvin.
First up we have: MODERN PRINCESS EDP
What we think: We love the immediate scent of jasmine which is a heady floral and more sexy and sensual than most florals. Out of the two fragrances, this one is slightly sharper and along with the jasmine, the berry notes are immediately recognised. Its a vibrant and refreshing feminine fragrance, and a floral which is not too ‘floral’.

In this sexy floral, the combination of jasmine and Pink Lady provides a new temptation. The top notes are young and invigorating, almost innocent, with apple and redcurrants – mouth-watering and delicious. The middle notes are womanlier, with a great deal of self-confidence and attitude. The dual personality of jasmine, at once delicate and carnal, flirts with the timeless elegance of freesia. Fragile, romantic and delicate on the surface, it gradually becomes unsettling and alluring as it is released. This assertive femininity becomes even stronger in contact with white musks, which provide an ultra-sexy, velvety feel. The last woman to reveal herself is an extremely sensual one, transformed even into a femme fatale with vanilla orchid. Blond wood brings a luxury that only she can take on, and the white musks provide sexy, intense comfort, like a caress on the skin.
And second, we have: MODERN PRINCESS EAU SENSUELLE EDT
What we think: The softer and more powdery of the two fragrances. We loved the dry-down after an hour on the skin, it is again a provocative floral with a heady sensual twist. It was very hard to choose between the two and they are similar, but if we had to choose this one is our favourite…but it was not an easy decision to make and we would very happily have and wear both.

The frosty effect of explosive, surprising grapefruit is like a joyfully uplifting; it is the perfect match for the velvety, juicy note of blood peach. In the hollow of the neck, Eau Sensuelle unveils its strong points one by one: its floral heart notes bring out the soft scent of crinkled peony petals and white jasmine. A mousseline of flowers with intense sensuality. To make it addictive, the perfumer improved a creamy and enveloping sandalwood, combining it with musk for an effect that is woody and creamy at once.
What we think: We like both fragrances and think they are perfectly suited to a wedding day or occasion because of their ability to take you through from day to night. They are floral based but they have a wonderful sensual twist which makes them compatible for daytime celebrations as well as late into the evening. We also think the shape of the bottle is lovely and feminine and much like the skirt of a wedding dress and of course on your wedding day you are the princess.
