Over the last few weeks Jessica Bridal Couture has been running a giveaway to treat one special bride to the ultimate prize: a bespoke couture gown worth $10,000 NZD.
With over 15 years’ experience working in the bridal industry, no designer is more equipped than founder and head designer Jessica Wu to bring your dreams to life.
“Last year, there were so many disappointed brides who had to put their dreams on hold – this year things are turning around, weddings are being rescheduled,” Jessica tells Together Journal. “I wanted to give something back in honour of all the brides who have waited so long.”
“I will work very closely with our winner. First of all, I’ll meet with the bride and learn exactly what she wants. She can try on ready-to-wear dresses in our store to see what colours and styles suit her. Once she’s made her decisions regarding cut, style, fabric and details, I’ll introduce her to our lead designer who’ll do a design sketch and will then meet with her for as many fittings as are required – usually between five and seven.”
Whether you’re the bride or a loved one is preparing to walk down the aisle, all you need to do is head over to @jessicabridalcouture on Instagram, look for one of the stylised competition boards (example below) and finish the following sentence, in the comments, in three to ten words; “Love is…”
The competition has already received hundreds of lovely answers and we asked Jessica Bridal Couture to share some of their favourites so far:

You can enter as many times as you like and if you tag friends so that they know about the competition you will automatically go into a draw to win one of six, one year subscription to Together Journal or a TJ X AOL wedding planner.
Just make sure to tag your friends in the atelier’s giveaway posts to be in with the chance of winning. Anyone tagged will automatically be entered into a weekly draw to win either a one-year Together Journal subscription or a Together Journal x An Organised Life Wedding Planner.
