December has hit so we thought it perfect timing to talk about perfumes that have caught our attention of late. Whether it be for Christmas gifting, Christmas events, your wedding day or just because you love fragrance as much as we do, below is a curated edit showing a beautifully diverse collection of scents.
Nurture by Abel Adore
Nurture was created by French perfumer Fanny Grau who selected the 100% plant-derived,
low allergen ingredients for the beauty of their scent profile, as well as their healing properties. Calming rose, energising orange blossom, ginger for its anti-nausea properties and sandalwood for grounding. Our Editor Greta is a fan of this fragrance and wears it at least once a week.

If you are not familiar with AMOUAGE we strongly encourage you to become so. Head into WORLD to see the collection and be guided by the staff who are without doubt the leading experts in luxury fragrance. Ashore has caught our eye – or nose as it were. It’s a delightful mix of florals and spice. Very feminine, thanks to the jasmine and Rose but with a grounding base of sandalwood and some cheeky bursts of pink pepper, cardamom and turmeric to delight the senses. Perfect for a wedding day.
Castro by The Virtue
We are very taken with this latest collection of fine fragrance by The Virtue. We reviewed it last week here. Castro is boldest and intoxicating (must be the dark rum?). It’s masculine and smokey but with a touch of violet, iris and musk to keep things interesting. Perfect for all genders and can be combined with HOLY SMOKE for a slightly more feminine touch.
ARQUISTE SYDNEY ROCK POOL
Nothing says summertime quite like a Sydney rock pool! This fragrance will give you a kick of beach nostalgia with its coconut skin accord, sandalwood, driftwood notes, frangipani, jasmine sambac, seaweed and sea salt accord. It’s fun, light and makes a statement. Perfect for any kind of summer event day or night. But would also be equally as tantalising in the depth of winter to remind you of what is to come.

Tom Ford Ombré Leather
Luxurious and rich, Tom Ford Ombré Leather has been created for both men and women. Notes of black leather make it warm and spicy while keynotes of jasmine and violet add a tactile sensuality. Jasmine sambac absolute India oppur gives a heady hypnotic haze which is tethered by layers of green tobacco and cedarwood to earth the fruity florals. Similar to Tuscan Leather, but not quite as tart, as the raspberry and saffron accord has been omitted. And Ombré Leather has a hint of airy freshness from the jasmine and cardamom.

It’s like Spring had a sexy makeover.
