Many of our brides are choosing the bohemian look this season, with bouquets made with wild and unpredictable combinations and deeper colours.
For this bouquet we’ve chosen non-commercial foliages in deep plum, masala and green tones, erring away from the traditional softer leaf. Rare gems such as the pomegranate blooms, bougainvillea and passionflower make the bouquet unique and give a subtle nod to the style of old Dutch master flower paintings.
The king protea is the hero flower in this design and is as bold as can be, but paired with the open, soft blooms of the peony the bouquet still maintains a bridal feel. Paper daisies, wild flowers and tea roses add whimsy and colour, and the bouquet is finished with metres of rich and luxuriant plant-dyed silk ribbon.
