Inspired by our earth’s muted colours and the Australian sunlight, this autumn styled shoot excites our senses. The textures of bunched up tulle, fluttering French lace, blush coloured roses, sun kissed eyelids and dazzling crystal dances with the shadows of the surrounding flora and scenery.
We started the day at 4 o’clock one autumn morning and after the burnt orange and pink hues of makeup were applied and hair was brushed we all yearned in desperation for our coffee. Once arriving to our first location, we slowly watched as the sun rose onto the soft long grass and intertwined with the tulle. After losing and then miraculously finding our engagement ring buried in the sand of this Melbourne beach we started to head off to our next location. Tucked away behind the Melbourne Museum where the sun shines gracefully through the trees and catches the silver jewellery on our model. Our table set up showcases the flora and styling of our wedding. Some flowers were dried weeks before to introduce a new texture in with the muted colours of the fresh flora and complimented the organic lines on the stationary. Metallic, marbled and transparent components are added and shine in the shadows. Then for dessert: monogrammed custom cookies finish the styling
