I still dream of my dress; it truly was the most perfect dress for me.
Tell us about the vision you had for the mood or style of your wedding… We did not have a set vision, but we wanted the mood to be minimal and romantic. We chose white roses, film photography and candlelight to help achieve this. We were so happy with how everything turned out and wouldn’t have changed a thing.

What was one element you were happy to splurge on? We decided to splurge on three main elements, the venue, florals, and photography. Choosing a venue in Brisbane that we would be guaranteed to have good food and service was very important as most of our family and friends are from Brisbane. We wanted to ensure they could have a night away from reality, The Calile was perfect for this.
Secondly, florals were an element we splurged on as we wanted the night to feel super special and soK which we believe the sea of white roses achieved.
Lastly, photography was something we could not budge on as we wanted to capture our day and all the special moments to remember forever. Georgia truly captured every special detail of our day, and we couldn’t be happier, along with Milk and Honey Creative and their amazing stills and videography.
Did anything happen on your wedding day that you laugh about in hindsight? The one thing that went south on the day was a large pour of rain as soon as the ceremony ended disrupting the drinks portion of the night. However, we take this detail as a sign of good luck and in-turn were given the most amazing sunset for the backdrop to our photos.
Tell us about your main outits, what was unique, is there a story? Sebastian is Italian so it was important for him to have an Italian designer create his suit. Richards and Richards and Sebastian worked with Isaia in Naples to custom design his outfit. On the other hand, I was very unsure what I wanted in terms of style and designer for my dress. I came across Lillian Khallouf by chance and knew instantly through her socials she was perfect. I still dream of my dress; it truly was the most perfect dress for me.
