Founded by friends Jacque Shaw and Lauren Kay Hooper, LVR Bridal is an artfully created bridal boutique redefining the bridal experience for New Zealanders. The careful curation of brands stocked by LVR bridal are handpicked to match the LVR brides’ own personal style.
Both Jacque and Lauren have been in the wedding industry for almost a decade; Lauren in Senior Design roles at Rue de Seine, Lovers Society & Leave Her Wilder Bridesmaids, and Jacque designing custom, bespoke wedding gowns for a range of brides.
For their own weddings, Jacque and Lauren had a clear vision. In order to try on the collections they loved, they needed to travel abroad for fittings. Coming home, they were inspired to create an experience for those with similar taste and bring these sought-after Designers together under one roof here in Auckland.
The LVR bride is a fashion-forward, unconventional bride. She is interested in Avant-garde fashion and always has her finger on the pulse when it comes to style. For her wedding day, she draws inspiration from high-end fashion, old Celine, unique street style and her undying love for the romance surrounding a wedding day.
One of the most vital parts of planning her special day is deciding what she (and the bridal party) are going to wear. Chloe Sevigny said it perfectly when she said, “I love weddings that are bursting at the seams.”
