Brad is a tradesmen and I am a stay at home mum to our crazy beautiful household.
Brad and i have known each other for 17 years and at different stages through those years our paths have crossed, there has always been a spark between us. It wasn’t until i flatted with one of his close friends we finally made it offical. Our biggest achievement is we have a gorgeous wee girl who brings joy to the both of us like no other, we don’t take life too seriously, we share similar interests which makes doing life with each other so easy.

When we started planning our wedding i was looking for a venue that would speak a millions words for itself. We really wanted a relaxed informal wedding with a classic look with canapé style catering , The Britten Stables was a perfect match for us we were so thrilled when it was suggested to us by Isabelle while it was being restored . There were so many aspects of the Britten stables that were unique which meant we were able to keep our styling minimalistic . Our local talented florist worked along side us to enhance the beauty of the venue.

When searching for the perfect dress I was told to be open to other ideas not just that one picture you have had stored in your pinterest folder, with this in mind I tried on pretty much every style you could think of. There was nothing that really jumped out. Im not a real lacey girl I wanted something simple and classical with that in mind I decided to get it made with the lovely ladies at Brides of Merivale. They were brilliant from the moment I walked to the moment I took the dress.
What were some of the most memorable/unique moments from the day?
There were so many moments of the wedding that I wish I could relive everyday. One of the most magical moments for me was before the wedding having my mother walk Greta in with her flower dress on, her favourite soft toy in one hand and a potato chip in the other with a huge grin and a big hug. When I asked Brad what his most memorable memory of the day was he said watching me and Greta walk down up isle, walking up the Isle and seeing and everyone that I loved standing in one place was also a highlight of mine too.
