Natural vegan skincare made in New Zealand! Say no more, we were dying to try this new skincare trio from Linden Leaves that is boasting ingredients such as organic white tea, rosehip oil, evening primrose oil, calendula, comfrey, white daisy, marshmallow and more…
Firstly we loved the no-fuss, quality glassware packaging that we know we will be recycling and using again. We think all brands should be thinking carefully about what they are packing their goods in. Ideally, we love brands to be using materials that are either made from recycled goods or they can be recycled again themselves. We can definitely see ourselves using these high-quality glass bottles again and again over time.
The first product we tried was the Oil Cleanser and Makeup Remover. The consistency was lovely and it did a great job of removing eye make up, in particular, a black liquid eyeliner wingtip and heavy mascara after a pre-lockdown night out (we really put it to the test!). As far as makeup removal goes this product delivers. And did we mention the delighful Rose oil scent? Its dreamy.
The skin refining cleanser was also a beautiful product and it worked perfectly after the oil base cleanser and makeup remover ensuring that skin felt clean, fresh and not overly oily as is sometimes the case when using an oil based makeup remover. Its best suited to more mature or dry skin.
Our third and last product to trial was the regenerating night cream, suited best to dry, mature or sensitive skins. Its is a luxurious and gentle night cream which, come the morning, left our skin feeling refreshed, hydrated and glowy. A perfect way to start the day.
All in all the trio of products we tried from the new Linden Leaves skincare range were beautiful and being from a brand we know and trust were a joy to use. We would confidently buy and use other skincare product from Linden Leaves skincare range (as well as other ranges too – we are fans of this beautiful New Zealand brand and its wide range of products.
