Tell us a little about yourselves, what you do, what you love, what is unique about you and your relationship…
Christian and I are both extremely passionate about life, quality food, health and well-being and living the most optimal we can. We love to explore, learn, experience and we are two adventurous souls. We are in a partnership, we have each other’s back, understand each other’s energies and are present with each other.
Tell us about your special day, was there a specific theme or style? Tell us a little about the setting, the styling and some of your favourite details…
We chose a few words to sum up the way we wanted the day to be: relaxed, mindful, reflective, simple and fun. Rainforest Gardens is an outdoor venue that ticked all the boxes, the staff including the venue co-ordinator Adeline were incredible! The styling was chosen mindfully supporting local artists and small businesses and it was looked after so beautifully by Positive Space Styling.
Tell us about your main outfits:
I wore the francis gown from Grace Loves Lace, shoes from Myer, earrings from Lovisa and Christian wore Politix and shoes from Florsheim.
What were some of the most memorable/unique moments from the day?
Walking towards Christian with locked eyes whilst lightly raining, the bridal photos were fun and greeting our guests on their way up to the reception. Speeches were incredible and the reggae, chilled vibes played by Andrea and Pauly – everything was perfect!
Any advice for other couples planning to spend the rest of their lives together?
My advice is to respect each other’s journey of life and encourage it. Lessen the distractions and be present with each other. Fully express yourselves in every way possible and be vulnerable. Know what your needs are as individuals and talk about how the other can meet them.
Every now and then surprise each other. Quality time and nights away from home and list of to do’s are important. Don’t ever stop the fun. We all have the same amount of time, it’s about prioritising. Where we spend our time is what we have chosen to value.
