This winter, two South Island icons come together for a design-led moment of warmth and style. In celebration of its 20th anniversary, New Zealand accessories house Deadly Ponies partners with the legendary Eichardt’s Bar for a limited seasonal takeover in Queenstown, centred around texture, tone, and quiet luxury.
From 31 July to 14 August 2025, Eichardt’s Bar, known for its roaring fire, timeless interior and considered cocktail offering, will be transformed through the lens of Deadly Ponies’ distinctive creative world. The collaboration invites guests to settle into winter’s slower rhythm in a space that is both intimate and elevated.
At the heart of the experience is the Mountaineer Blanket in Fern, designed by Deadly Ponies and inspired by the surrounding alpine landscape. The blanket references the brand’s flagship location in Queenstown’s historic Mountaineer Building and forms part of their Thorn of Plenty palette. Its earthy hue and tactile finish create a grounded elegance that complements the bar’s quietly luxurious atmosphere.
A bespoke cocktail menu has also been created in collaboration with Eichardt’s expert mixologists. Seasonal and refined, the drinks offering mirrors the spirit of the collection and speaks to the shared commitment to detail and craft.
