Tell us a little about yourselves, what you do, what you love, what is unique about you and your relationship…
We first met in year 7 and formed a close friendship, from there I bagged Scott for our Year 11 Deb as I use to call it our mini “wedding “ but still only best friends! ( I always had a secret love for him ! ) Then going our own path after high school…
In 2009 I moved to London. But it was on a short trip home for my brother’s wedding that Myself and Scott realised for themselves that there was much more than just friendship between us. Scott decided he wanted a life with me, and needing to pursue their relationship further, He packed up his things and followed Me half way across the world. It was this bold, romantic gesture that truly started our romance. A flooring business and Hair Salon and our two fur babies Drake and Halo later.. 7 years have gone past and with the help of my two best friends and Scott’s credit card hahaha he organised a surprise engagement party with 200 of our family and friends which he got on one knee and asked me to spend the rest of our life together! That’s our story best friend to lovers!
Tell us about your special day, was there a specific theme or style? Tell us a little about the setting, the styling and some of your favourite details…
We where so Lucky we didn’t have to over style Tanglewood it’s such an amazing space so we kept it quite simple I found these candle holders from Kmart and they where perfect paired with our beautiful flower arrangements from Peninsula wild flower and I think it talked for itself, i did love our Easter dessert table that was a lot of fun to do !

I told Vincenzo what I was thinking of having for my dress and then left it up to his amazing skills I was so lucky to have him make my dress it was so beautiful .

What were some of the most memorable/unique moments from the day?
When I walked down the aisle to see Scott he was an emotional mess it was so beautiful! We had our closest friend Lisa ( we all went to high school together) tell our story at the chapel to was so beautiful and very emotional. Really everything was so memorable We feel very grateful to have such a beautiful family & friends that are just incredible and we just had the best time I never what that feeling to go away pure happiness!
Any advice for other couples planning to spend the rest of their lives together?
Just be honest and real to each other find your best friend and don’t let the wedding over take over, because on the day nothing else matters just you and your partner.
