The Estée Lauder Companies’ Breast Cancer 2021 Campaign

With a lot of unknowns, research is a strong defence against Breast Cancer. That’s why we admire The Estée Lauder Companies’ Breast Cancer Campaign, raising funds through the sales of some of its top-selling products to go towards fighting this life-threatening disease.

The Estée Lauder Companies call to help end breast cancer is more urgent today than ever because breast cancer is now the most commonly diagnosed cancer worldwide. A sobering reality that has reaffirmed the companies mission – uniting people in hope to help end breast cancer for all.

The campaign remains steadfast in its commitments to tirelessly raise awareness, drive progress, and ultimately help find a cure for this disease through the advancements of research, education and medical services.

So how does research make a difference? Over the years of the campaign, funds raised have supported research grants in improving treatment, advancing disparities through improving care in less developed countries, creating tools to improve quality of life for those living with the cancer and studying prevention through assessing risk in young girls with a family history. Supporting this campaign is simple. When you purchase one of The Estée Lauder Companies’ Pink Ribbon Products, a portion of the sale will be donated National Breast Cancer Foundation and the Breast Cancer Foundation New Zealand, and the best part? The products are some of our all-time favourites to date.

Together Journal editor Greta Kenyon swears by Estée Lauder’s Advanced Night Repair, so we were elated to see it included in this initiative. “I use ANR every morning and night and my skin stays fresh, hydrated and radiant. I notice a difference in my skin if I don’t use it, my skin feels tighter and looks duller,” she says.

In New Zealand, Estée Lauder will donate 20% of the purchase price of Advanced Night Repair to Breast Cancer Foundation New Zealand from the start of October 2021 to the end of January 2022, or until supplies last.

In Australia, Estee Lauder will donate $20 from the purchase price of Advanced Night Repair to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.

We also adore how this limited edition of ANR comes with a pink sleeve honouring and supporting breast cancer awareness.

You can shop this product at Estée Lauder counters nationwide and online at Estée Lauder, Smith + Caughey’s, Ballentynes.

We are all too familiar with Crème de la Mer at Together Journal. Editor Greta Kenyon has been using it most evenings for the past two years and it’s one of her favourite night creams. It is arguably one of the most luxurious moisturisers on the market today so we were delighted to hear that La Mer will donate 100% of the purchase price of this 15ml Crème de la Mer The Moisturizing Cream to the Breast Cancer Foundation New Zealand, with a maximum donation of $2,000.
