Nestled in open countryside just 2km from Arrowtown’s main street and a 20-minute drive from central Queenstown, The Stables at Merryfield Farm is a charming and rustic stone venue full of character. Originally built in 1885 as a working farm building, it has been thoughtfully restored to blend its historic charm with modern comforts. The venue boasts breathtaking views of the Wakatipu Basin, including Coronet Peak and The Remarkables. With a variety of flexible indoor and outdoor spaces, The Stables can host up to 150 guests. The upstairs area accommodates 70 seated or 150 standing, while the more intimate downstairs space suits 15–18 seated or 40 standing. A spacious outdoor area is ideal for large marquees and can also host up to 150 standing guests.
