I’m Ricky, a wedding photographer working between Australia and Europe.

I’m interested in weddings as they actually unfold: a collision of people, feeling, energy, atmosphere and the beautifully unpredictable moments that exist between the things planned. I photograph with an eye on how a day feels as much as how it looks.

From my time shooting documentary and art projects abroad, experience has sharpened something I rely on heavily: instinct. Knowing when something is about to happen, when to move closer, when to wait and when to get out of the way. It’s part learned skill, part intuition - and a big part of how I work.

I’m drawn to the quiet as much as the unruly; intimacy, movement, laughter, tension, quirky interludes and glorious chaos.
The result is imagery that feels honest and alive - considered without feeling contrived.
