YSL Skincare have recently released there Pure shots skincare collection which is targeted at the urban lifestyle and the founders boast that it delivers powerful results. We tried two of the products in the collection, Pure Shots Night Reboot Serum and the Perfect Plumper Face cream…
Let’s start with the Yves Saint Laurent Pure Shots Perfect Plumper Cream. We have been training this for three weeks now in the morning after we apply our morning serum and we love it! It’s beautifully glowy both in the pot and on your skin and the consistency is luxuriously rich and creamy. It has given us a freshly hydrated look and a luxuriously moisturised feel each morning when we use it. Its infused with a combination of Ribose and Moroccan Orange Blossom and it’s designed to target fatigued, dehydrated skin and works to make it smoother, firmer and more luminous. And its packaged in a refillable, sustainably-sourced glass jar which you can buy a refill for, its paraben-free, mineral oil and BHT-free.
And onto the Pure Shots Night Reboot Serum. Again this product has been formulated to target fatigued, dehydrated skin and it pairs exclusive bi-phase and exfoliator-in-oil technology together that assist with the renewal of skin, you will notice that the serum does separate so you need to give its good shake before you use it to mix all ingredients in the vessel. Glycolic acid and moonlight cactus protect new skin cells from any oxidative stress. We have been using this product at night time applied to freshly cleansed skin. We are pretty sure its the magical glycolic acid which helps to reduce the look of skin spots and also leaves the skin feeling softer, smoother and more radiant. We have definitely noticed an improvement in the appearance and texture of the skin’s surface over the past three weeks that we have been using it.
