A Win for REBE at NZFW

Rebe Wins Inaugural Fashion Edition Award at NZFW

Few moments at New Zealand Fashion Week are as thrilling as seeing the next wave of design talent recognised, and this year the spotlight belonged to Rebe Healy. The founder and creative force behind REBE has been announced as the inaugural winner of the Giltrap Group Helping Kiwis Fly – Fashion Edition Award, a new initiative designed to support and accelerate the careers of emerging designers.

The Award, presented in partnership with Giltrap Group, is designed to honour designers who have moved beyond the very beginning of their careers yet remain firmly positioned as the future of New Zealand fashion. Judges praised REBE for its clarity of vision, polished brand identity and strong business strategy, noting that the same confidence evident in her designs is mirrored in her approach to growth.

“The Giltrap Group Helping Kiwis Fly – Fashion Edition Award is at the heart of our partnership with NZFW,” said Steve Kenchington, Giltrap Group CEO. “REBE proved her business is in the right place to switch gears and we look forward to helping her accelerate her career.”
