We wanted something warm and joyful.
Tell us a little about yourselves, what you do, what you love…
We share a deep passion for music and love going to concerts whenever we get the chance. Music has always been a big part of our story — it inspires us and brings us closer together. We also cherish spending quality time with our loved ones, enjoying relaxed evenings with friends or special family meals. Sports also play an important role in our lives: Jemima played handball at a competitive level for several years, while Nathan has his own music band. Nathan works as a sound engineer, and Jemima holds a degree in social anthropology and sociology
How/where/when did you meet – and what were your first impressions?
We met in Switzerland, thanks to mutual friends, a few years ago. Three years ago, Nathan went to a concert by a French artist we both love, and that’s where our first exchanges on social media began. Very quickly, these conversations revealed how much we shared in terms of passions, especially music, as well as common values and interests. We started seeing each other for small outings — at restaurants, the cinema, or museums — and every moment together strengthened our bond. A few months later, it became clear that we wanted to share our lives, and we officially began our beautiful story.

Tell us about the vision you had for the mood and style of your wedding. (theme, key styling elements, florals, colour palettes etc.).
For our wedding, we wanted something warm and joyful, where our guests could truly enjoy the celebration. We decided to create two distinct atmospheres for the ceremony and the evening dinner.
For the ceremony, we chose an outdoor space surrounded by greenery. We decorated with white hydrangeas and provided small parasols to protect our guests from the sun. The main colors were white and green, creating a soft and natural ambiance. We also set up a photo wall with large white sheets and hydrangeas so that everyone could have beautiful memories to take home.
For the dinner, the atmosphere was cozy and colorful, with flowers of all kinds and colors, reflecting the joy of the evening. We dined outside in a small clearing.
What styling and visual elements worked best for you? (could be things, the florals, particular hire products or your marquee, etc., something the stylist created or simply just the scenic beauty of your location or the existing design of your venue).
We truly loved both of our venues, as they were outdoors, spacious, and surrounded by beautiful greenery and trees — the perfect settings for a wedding celebration! One of the highlights was the photo wall, with the reflections of the trees in the background, creating a stunning effect in the pictures. The flowers added a lovely touch of charm and color: with our carefully chosen selection, they enhanced the spaces, brought elegance, and brightened every corner. Finally, the small parasols we provided for our guests added a delicate and graceful touch to the ceremony, making the atmosphere even more refined.

What did you enjoy most about the planning process, and do you have any tips for couples starting their wedding planning journey?
What we loved most about planning our wedding was being able to create the entire “artistic direction” ourselves — from designing the invitations to choosing the dinner menu. We truly enjoyed making every decision together: the color palette, the venues, the food, the wine, and the flowers. Visiting different locations, imagining our celebration, and taking part in the menu and wine tastings were all such meaningful and joyful moments. Our advice would be to fully enjoy this time together, take your time to plan everything over several months to avoid last-minute stress, and don’t hesitate to delegate certain tasks to trusted people and experienced professionals.
Tell us about your vendors. Were there any standout suppliers you would like to make special mention of?
We had incredible vendors — people who were dedicated, attentive, and highly professional. Always attentive, they made this day even more beautiful! Fabien, our photographer, was amazing from start to finish! He immediately made us feel comfortable with his joy, enthusiasm, and encouragement. His photos are stunning and perfectly capture all the emotions of the day. Mille et une fleurs were exceptional! With their wide variety of flowers, they were incredibly kind, attentive, and gave excellent advice for selecting the colors and arrangements. Camille and her team designed and prepared an absolutely delicious meal. She is lovely, caring, and created a menu that was simply incredible.

Tell us about your main outfits, what was unique, and is there a story?
For my wedding dress, I’ve always loved the creations of Alexandra Grecco, and it was at Whiteflow that I found the dress of my dreams! It could be worn in multiple ways: I chose to wear the delicate sleeves for the ceremony and then removed them to have a strapless version for the evening after-party
For my suit, I wanted a bespoke design that was simple, elegant, and classy, with a slightly oversized cut. I had a clear idea: a black, double-breasted, and slightly loose suit. We added a special touch by engraving our initials inside the jacket and decorating the lining with musical notes
Tell us about your wedding and engagement rings.
For our wedding bands, we wanted rings that were simple, timeless, and reflected who we are. We wanted gold rings, delicate and slim. We had the date of our wedding engraved inside, giving them even more personal significance. For my engagement ring, Nathan wanted it to be custom-made. He designed the shape of the ring and the setting for the diamond himself, with the guidance of the jeweler, of course. This attention to detail and personalization makes the ring truly unique and meaningful.

What were one or two elements that were most important to you both that you were happy to spend a little more on? (food, photography, florals, the venue, your outfits?).
We wanted our guests to fully enjoy the meal, so it was very important for us that it be exceptional. We paid particular attention to the quality of the ingredients, choosing fresh, locally sourced products. Each dish was carefully crafted, and the menu included options for every taste, ensuring that everyone could indulge. The meal exceeded our expectations — we truly savored every bite. We also wanted to preserve memorable moments from this special day, and we were fortunate to work with a talented photographer. He captured not only our emotions and the key moments perfectly but also the joy and energy of all our guests. For us, having beautiful photos was essential, as they allow us to relive every moment of our wedding — the laughter, the happy tears, and the unique atmosphere of the day.
Was there a favourite moment (or two) that you will treasure always?
One of the moments we will always treasure is exchanging our wedding rings during the ceremony, surrounded by our loved ones, family, and friends. It was a deeply meaningful and symbolic moment, marking our commitment to each other in the presence of those who mean the most to us. The second unforgettable moment was our choice not to have a traditional “first dance.” Instead, we kicked off the evening with our own DJ set, inviting all our guests straight onto the dance floor. It brought everyone together, creating a shared moment of dancing and pure joy. Seeing everyone laugh, dance, and celebrate together created an incredible, festive, and truly memorable atmosphere.
