New Zealand’s favourite bridesmaids dress brand, Blak Bridesmaids relaunches with new branding and a standalone website.
For the first time since its inception in 2017, BLAK’s made to order bridesmaids collection will have its own website, blakbridesmaids.co.nz, being relaunched as a standalone brand with a refreshed look. The new website features all the same styles New Zealand brides and bridesmaids have come to know and love, like current bestsellers; Golden Hour Dress, Ivy Dress and Soul Slip, with new styles incoming and fresh new colour options like Laila Purple and Lemon available now.
Offering real wedding inspiration for brides-to-be with their regular Love Stories blog feature, brides can now also explore weddings featuring their favourite dresses to help make the decision a little easier.
As always, brides can choose to order fabric samples to see up close at home, or sample dresses to try on with their bridesmaids before they place their order.
The launch of blakbridesmaids.co.nz acknowledges the growth of what was originally an offshoot to cater to the wedding market, becoming a fully-fledged and beloved brand in its own right.

“Our bridesmaids collection has become a huge aspect of the company now. We have brides travel from all over the country to our Newmarket and Mount Maunganui stores for the collection. The way we have set up the collection is that brides can create and tailor their look in a multitude of ways; styles, colours, fabrications, there is even a custom colour option.
I feel the most important part is that we are able to work to the bride and bridesmaid’s individual styles, and incorporate the theme of the day. The bridesmaids are such a big part of the overall event, and we want to make sure their dresses are perfect for our brides.”
