Finally spring is in the air….we’ve had our share of cold and grey days over the last few months, but there were still rich jewel-toned blooms out there to lift our spirits…  even in the depths of winter!
I have been so engrossed in getting The Wildflower School up and running that I haven’t had much hands on flower time lately- so I found inspiration again when I looked at these images from our Autumnal Blooms in Abundance workshop from a couple of seasons ago. Still loving these wintery table arrangements in mossy pots and wreaths woven from grape canes….we used crimson camellia raided from local bushes, faded antique end of season hydrangeas, lush burnt orange parrot tulips, fresh moss, lichen encrusted branches, persimmons- and arm loads of bay, rosemary and eucalyptus. Now I can’t wait to run the Undone Florist course I have been planning- and hopefully to inspire others to start working with flowers too…
