The proposal took place in Big Bend (in the Texas desert) underneath a full moon at midnight. We gazed at the moon through a high-powered telescope he brought, and as I was looking through the lens he had a box ready.
Tell us a little about yourselves, what you do, what you love…
BA: I love to read and watch birds, am looking forward to becoming a mother.
KA: I love being a father, playing guitar, Quentin Tarantino, Ayn Rand, and Israel.
How/where/when did you meet – and what were your first impressions?
BA: We first met on Tinder of all places during Covid. When we met in person, it was very magnetic – and a date to remember.
When did you first realise that this was someone you’d like to spend the rest of your life with?
BA: The first time I realized that Kfir was the one for me was when we spent 24 hours together in and out of deep intellectual conversation. I knew that the feeling I was getting from the fire in our discussions was love.
KA: Brittany’s immense kindness, her sense of humor, and her intelligence eventually became undeniable in the first six months we were together. It wasn’t one moment for me, but a snowball of situations and experiences together that made me confident she was going to be a wonderful woman to share my life with.
Was there a proposal? Tell us a little about it…
BA: The proposal took place in Big Bend (in the Texas desert) underneath a full moon at midnight. We gazed at the moon through a high-powered telescope he brought, and as I was looking through the lens he had a box ready.
Tell us about the vision you had for the mood or style of your wedding…
BA: The wedding vision was inspired by the French historic countryside, earth tones and simplicity.
Did anything happen on your wedding day that you laugh about in hindsight (even if it was stressful at the time)?
KA: Not on the wedding day, but on the day after we were heading to Chamonix (French Alps) to begin our honeymoon when the car broke down. We had to wait 4 hours for a tow truck to take our rental car to the nearest town, and we booked the only available nearby motel with a room smaller than a dorm room. We slept on a bunkbed, which was a bit of a step down from the lavish Chateau during the previous three days of the wedding, but we went for a walk at night and ended up getting a wonderful dinner and soaking in the local flavor of a random French town we would have never known about.
Tell us about your main outfits, what was unique, is there a story?
BA: We wanted to feel warmth in our wedding attire, we didn’t take a luxury approach, aside from Kfir’s John Varvatos jacket but we made it feel so chic as anyone could do with the right eye for it. Brittany’s dress comes from Azazie bridal.
