Inspired by the contemporary dance performance “Play” by Alexander Ekman the collection is elegant yet simple. The proportions and shapes are feminine but strong. We love the way fabrics have been gathered and pleated to create volume in some styles and cut sleek to the body in others.
We are seeing more brides and maids opt for off the shelf and the light tones and strong these of creams and white make this collection perfect for Together Journal wedding attendees, promoting us to create an edit of the best wedding-worthy ensembles.
We loved seeing New Zealand model and friend Mana MacKay appear in the campaign. Mana did one of her very first editorial shoots with Together Journal when first starting out in the modelling world and has shot fashion editorial with us several times since. We are so proud to see her doing so well internationally. She is a dream, especially below in this plunge neck gown with a centre seam feature. (Mana below)
Tailored jackets would make for a sophisticated reception look at a night time cocktail wedding, or a fashionable mother or the bride.
