The Haven Bridal Boutique is a refuge for the modern bride, an escape from the conventional. For the bride who dares to be different, those who don't settle for the traditional but still adore the romance. For the free spirit, the effortless, the dreamer, the refined. We want our brides to feel refreshed to finally find a modern, relevant place in which to discover their dream dress.
We believe that choosing your wedding gown should be a magical experience and something you remember forever. As a bride-to-be you deserve to be the center of attention, so we have created a unique, relaxing environment that puts you at the focus. For this reason we work by appointment only so you have the whole boutique to yourself for the duration of your appointment. We have crafted a bridal collection full of international, local, independent, creative and emerging designers that we think you will find very refreshing. Our designers include Charlie Brear, Sally Eagle, Truvelle and Alexandra Grecco. The Haven Boutique is hosting a trunkshow for Alexandra Grecco this weekend and there are only 4 spaces left. Trends – Emilia Wickstead

Tell us about your background and your brand... My mother, Angela Wickstead, was a made-to-measure fashion designer, so it was always something that was part of my life. I grew up in New Zealand but when I was 14, we moved to Milan, which was the fashion hub of the world. From there, I went on to study fashion design and marketing at Central Saint Martins, and gained industry experience work- ing at Proenza Schouler, Narciso Rodriguez, and American Vogue. After I graduated, I launched my brand as a made-to-measure atelier and opened my first store in Belgravia. By creating a strong clientele base, I was able to develop the brand further and introduced ready-to-wear at London Fashion Week in 2012.
