Say hello to Mi Piaci‘s spring/summer 21 collection, a joyous celebration of female empowerment and strength.
Teased in monthly capsules, each drop explores what it means to be a woman in the modern world. First up: August. For the Auckland atelier’s winter instalment, Mi Piaci has launched the Eton Mule in ice cream hues of sweet pistachio and pink clay.
Boasting a subtle platform and open toe, they’re a subtle homage to the early noughties and will effortlessly elevate day-to-day looks. They’re the ultimate wedding guest shoe too, especially if opting for a two-piece pant suit. While city brides will fall head over heels for the Sidella Sandals in pink clay and the Space Heels in cream, as both will work beautifully with a chic mini dress.

So what can we expect for September? Mi Piaci is set to welcome spring with open arms in an ultra-chic tribute to the ‘90s. We’re talking clog-inspired silhouettes and chunky soles galore. The Myra and Elba both showcase gorgeous tan leather, gold studs and a wooden heel which will take you through to the warmer months in one fashionable swoop. Pair with a chunky knit and jeans until the warmer weather rolls in.

As the sunshine heats up so does Mi Piaci’s footwear game. With far-flung travel off the cards for now, October’s launch is a tribute to the ocean with gorgeous powder blue stealing the show. The Jannie is a beautiful way to wear ‘something blue’ while brides seeking a bigger statement may choose bigger sister Shoop. Last but certainly not least is Mi Piaci’s final drop which is already getting us into the party spirit. After 18 months spent in and out of lockdown, we can’t wait to celebrate the end of the year with our nearest and dearest.
