Tell us a little about yourselves, what you do, what you love, what is unique about you and your relationship:
We’re a Londoner and a Montreal born Canadian living in Somerset. We met 5 years ago when Dylan was just about to embark on a 6 month trip around Asia culminating in relocation to Australia. The trip to Asia went ahead but the emigration did not and it wasn’t long before he was back in London and we moved in together.
All of the values we were looking for in another person we found in each other, like our traditional South Asian heritage, views on religion and American upbringing. When we met at a Ramadan charity event, everything just clicked.
Tell us a little about yourselves, what you do, what you love…
We live on the wild west coast of northland where we recently brought our first home together. I’m a Diesel mechanic and Katie works as admin, and is a qualified chef, which is a great bonus.
Tell us how you met each other?
We first met at a mutual friend’s leaving for London dinner. We hit it off, but the timing wasn’t right. Luckily, about six months’ later and thanks to the wonders of modern technology, we crossed paths again. Two right swipes later and the rest is history.
Jonny works in property development and investment and I’m head of brand communications at L’Oréal, so our careers are a big part of our lives. We live in Ponsonby but spend a lot of time travelling and our spare time on our boat, fishing in the Bay of Islands.
Tell us a little about yourselves, what you do, what you love…
We are both very family orientated. Our family is everything to us. We love our italian culture and often find ourselves spending our weekends with family/ friends, cooking to bring our loved ones together or working on a creative project for our house. Both of us are very much homebodies so it is important for us to create a home and a space together that feels special, personal and unique to us.
We opted not to have a wedding party, we had such a small guest list, only 23 people, that we felt everyone was already such a huge part of our day.
On paper, we are different in most ways. Todd is a gin distiller; I am a lawyer. Todd is patient, laid-back, lives in the moment, is never one to over-complicate or over-analyse. He loves the ocean and the snow and wears flip flops all year round. I am a thinker, a daydreamer, a worrier, a talker. I always over-analyse. I’m driven, and I’m often planning and organising something.
Tell us how you meet each other?
We met through Brent’s little sister and our mutual friends initially. We chatted on social media for years but nothing came of it.
Tell us a little about yourselves, what you do, what you love
Bill and I live in West Philadelphia with our two cats, Rowland and Junebug. Bill works at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, and I work as a Social Worker at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. We try to spend as much time outside as possible, either by going on bike rides, hiking, foraging, or camping. We garden and grow a lot of our own food that we use to make delicious meals for our loved ones.

Phil is Head Chef at Goonoo Goonoo Station just outside of Tamworth – he’s a lover of food, building race cars, fishing adventures, renovating and a good ol’ Netflix binge! I’m a speech pathologist in Newcastle – I’m a lover of all things sweet and delicious, an easy morning run, the occasional marathon and delicious coffee.
