Denise + Luigi by Maria Francesca Nitti

We focused on the attention to detail, trying to create spaces that would welcome the guests into our world.

Tell us a little about yourselves, what you do, what you love…

We met on a summer night at fifteen years old.
We grew up together, defined ourselves together, dreamed together, and one step at a time, we are trying to make all our dreams come true.

Ten years after that summer night, Luigi asked me to marry him on a boat at sunset next to Es Vedrà. A year later, we swore eternal love.

Tell us about the vision you had for the mood and style of your wedding. (theme, key styling elements, florals, colour palettes etc.).

Getting married has long been a shared desire for both of us. Participating in the organisation of our wedding was very exciting.

We decided to get married at the resort of Tenuta Santi Giacomo e Filippo, a location close to our home, which perfectly combined emotional value and aesthetic aspects consistent with our tastes. We were stunned by the feelings that this place transmitted to us from the first moment, and we chose it without hesitation.

The religious ceremony took place in front of the little church of the estate, after the event continued taking advantage of the most evocative points of the property, to finally end with a pool party. The planning was a real search aimed at realising an event that fully reflected our personalities, our choices and the experiences that led us to that moment. We focused on the attention to detail, trying to create spaces that would welcome the guests into our world. We researched the presence of the white element, making it a distinctive and characteristic aspect of the event. This reflected both aesthetic and symbolic aspects.

Tell us about your main outfits, what was unique, and is there a story?

Clothing is a shared interest. Having to choose without mutual help, for such an important event, was a difficult challenge for both of us.

I chose my dress in an atelier, it’s from Milla Nova, and the décolleté is from one of my favourite brands, The Attico.
Luigi chose a total white look, with a Lardini suit, combined with a Marsell derby.
