ECOYA Elevates the Everyday Laundry Ritual

There are certain domestic pleasures that feel disproportionately good. Fresh sheets. Neatly folded towels. Opening a wardrobe to the lingering scent of clean linen. ECOYA‘s reintroduced Laundry Collection takes these small satisfactions seriously, bringing fragrance, considered design and a little more pleasure to one of life’s most ordinary routines.

The collection arrives in Wild Sage & Citrus, a fresh, layered fragrance that combines bright citrus, golden fruits and ripe fig with aromatic sage, creamy coconut, warm amber and sandalwood. Rather than fragrance being an afterthought, ECOYA has designed the collection so the scent can be layered throughout the entire laundry process, from washing and drying to ironing, storing and, ultimately, wearing.

The line-up includes Laundry Liquid and a one-litre refill, Linen Spray, Fragrance Drops, wool Dryer Balls and new Closet Tags. The latter are designed to fragrance wardrobes, linen cupboards and hanging garments for up to two months, and can then be refreshed using the Linen Spray or Fragrance Drops.

And then there’s the packaging. Dressed in a fresh spring green, this is laundry care that doesn’t need to be hidden in the cupboard. The bottles, boxes and refill pouch have a clean, contemporary quality that makes them feel considered enough to leave on display. It’s an appealing direction for a part of the home that is increasingly being treated with the same design attention as the kitchen or bathroom.

The wool Dryer Balls are a particularly clever part of the system. Made from 100% New Zealand wool, they’re designed to naturally soften fabrics while improving airflow to reduce drying time, and can be reused up to 1,000 times. Add the concentrated Fragrance Drops, and scent becomes part of the drying process itself.

But one of the additions we’re happiest to see is perhaps the least glamorous: the refill pouch. ECOYA‘s one-litre Laundry Liquid Refill allows you to replenish the original bottle while reducing packaging waste. It’s such a straightforward idea that it’s difficult to understand why refill options aren’t yet standard across more home and beauty brands. A beautifully designed bottle becomes even more appealing when you can keep it rather than repeatedly replacing it. Well done, ECOYA, for setting an example here.
