Tell us a little about yourselves, what you do, what you love…
(Brad) – Professionally we’re opposites. I work in communications, Ben works in supply chain and logistics. As a couple, we both love the outdoors and are very active in summer… not so much in winter. Ben’s an amazing cook and I’m an amazing eater.
He sat behind me at high school and we ended up going to the year 13 school ball together. We’ve attended school and university graduations together, supported each other through our career journeys, and navigated the nuances of an intercultural relationship.
Tell us a little about yourselves, what you do, what you love
Stephen grew up on the Isle of Wight in the United Kingdom. He worked in international development before moving to Aotearoa New Zealand. We run a business that makes finding small-medium size charities easier.
Romi: I’m a theatre director and producer, and love gardening and reading. Edden is an animator, works in customer service, and loves drawing and gaming. We both initially connected through our art forms — performance and animation. This blossomed into a shared love of many things, such as nature, animated films, authenticity and building our life together.
Tell us a little about yourselves, what you do, what you love…
From high school sweethearts to husband and wife, we’ve been together for a decade. Jesse works as a resident doctor and Vivien is a tax advisor at medical devices manufacturer Fisher & Paykel Healthcare.
A celebrant and a sommelier: we fit together like yin and yang. We met in 2014, when I slung open the door to a Bondi restaurant called Fat Ruperts for my first shift as the new waitress. Sean, the manager, says that’s when he first laid eyes on the love of his life. I needed a little more convincing.Â
Tell us a little about yourselves, what you do, what you love, what is unique about you and your relationship:
Charl and I met when we were quite young. Ridiculously enough it was at schoolies week but we would never have met if Charl didn’t already know my best friend Hannah who introduced us. We then went our separate ways and didn’t start dating for another year after we met. We then endured a long 3 years of long distance while navigating university and living on college.
