Jack + Jucinta by Ali Bailey

Jack — Jucinta is a flame that cannot be put out. A wildfire, if you like. The three times we met before we got together proved how small the world can be and not to take any moment for granted, no matter how insignificant it may seem.

Jucinta — I was 15 years old when I first met Jack. It was at a friend’s party and he told me off for talking during the speeches. A while later, I saw him at a dinner and was so nervous around him. He took my breath away. He is the most beautiful man I’ve ever seen and I still have those feelings every time he walks through the door. Weeks later, I scratched my car and texted him about fixing it. There was a lot of tension because I liked him so much that it hurt.

Jack — Months leading up to Jucinta and I becoming one were the most innocent, beautiful moments I’ve ever had. She was going on holiday to Europe for eight weeks. They were the hardest times I’ve ever experienced. But my beautiful girl finally came home. She immediately healed my heart and we began our epic fairytale love story. I’m completely drawn to Jucinta’s strength and how nurturing she is. She’s a stunning and sexy woman. It’s now been seven years and we’re expecting our first baby this November

Jucinta — Jack proposed on my birthday – 5 May – in 2021. We’d just come out of lockdown Jack booked a beautiful property in the mountains and said there was a special walk he wanted us to do. As we crossed a beautiful wooden bridge overlooking thousands of green ferns, I turned around and Jack was on one knee with the most beautiful ring I’ve ever seen. We sat there, just the two of us, surrounded by beauty, and shared a moment I’ll never forget

Jucinta — I’ve always had a vision of a Tuscan wedding. Unfortunately, because of the pandemic, we couldn’t travel, so my wedding planners brought Tuscany to us! Because it was the peak of Covid, we were only allowed 20 guests but we loved how intimate it was. It also meant we could splurge on some parts of the wedding, including the food. We’re both big foodies and wanted the day to be lots of fun, with woodfired pizzas, salads, and amazing cocktails.

There was a dress I wanted from a New York label but there were delivery delays and I worried it wouldn’t arrive in time. I eventually found a local designer, Adele O’Shea, who designed the dress of my dreams. At the first fitting, I was pregnant but Adele altered the design to allow for extra space within the dress so it complemented my growing body. Putting on my wedding dress and veil on the day made me feel so special and beautiful.
