Tell us a little about yourselves, what you do, what you love…
We both live in Newcastle, NSW; Hayden just turned 30 in October, and I’m 28 in November. I’m a Florist and Stylist and love nature and being in the garden; we couldn’t be more opposite. Hayden is a nerd who loves Warhammer and fast cars; they say opposites attract, right? Apart from these differences, we get along like a house on fire, and he makes me laugh.
How/where/when did you meet – and what were your first impressions?
We met at my old work. Hayden stalked me, but it turned out we had a lot of mutual friends. First impressions for me – he’s so sweet. Hayden’s first impressions are that she’s funny, caring and thoughtful.
When did you first realise that this was someone you’d like to spend the rest of your life with?
I think we both knew pretty early felt like home being around each other

Tell us about the vision you had for the mood or style of your wedding…
Well, being a florist and stylist, I knew it just had to look pretty. I love pink, so that had to be in it pretty and fun was the vibe we were going for.
What was one element you were happy to splurge on?
FLOWERS! Food, music and PHOTOS!
Did anything happen on your wedding day that you laugh about in hindsight (even if it was stressful at the time)?
For a moment, we thought catering wasn’t coming, haha I didn’t realise they showed up 45 mins beforehand, but I did have a moment where I thought oh well, they’re not coming. I’ll just have to order pizzas.
Tell us about your main outfits, what was unique, is there a story?
Classic and timeless, I ended up changing into a shorter dress to dance in the best decision ever!
