Tell us a little about yourselves, what you do, what you love…
Pol and I met 9 years ago in Barcelona through a friend who introduced us! I am Italian, and we have always wanted to get married in Italy. We decided on Florence because my family is from Arezzo, a nearby city in the beautiful region of Tuscany. Our vows were very emotional, and we truly forgot about the guests in front of us; we spoke directly from the heart.
Tell us about the vision you had for the mood or style of your wedding.
The wedding style was all about glamour, fun, and timeless style. Inspired by the energy of The Great Gatsby, the couple created an unforgettable celebration with a lively, elegant ambience that invited everyone to enjoy the night to the fullest. The wedding unfolded beautifully across different areas of the villa, beginning with the ceremony in the Oliveta, the charming lower part of the estate. Guests then enjoyed aperitifs in the elegant Giardino all’Italiana. The highlight of the evening, however, was the sunset at La Terrazza, where breathtaking views added a truly magical touch to the celebration.
What was one element you were happy to splurge on?
My favourite memory is having the same magical opinion about the wedding from 30 years old to 60 years old! Everyone enjoyed the wedding to the max, and that’s my most happy memory. My father danced with me and my sisters until 4:30 a.m. in the morning.
