Mona + Jad by Dear Vincent

Just a beautiful setting, great music, and a feeling that was intimate, personal, and warm.

How/where/when did you meet – and what were your first impressions?

We met in London in 2017 — both from Lebanon, but somehow it took being abroad for our paths to cross. We’ve been together ever since, growing side by side through different cities, careers, and chapters.

Tell us about the vision you had for the mood and style of your wedding. (theme, key styling elements, florals, colour palettes etc.).

For our wedding, we poured our hearts into it and into every detail of the planning. We were very intentional — we didn’t want anything cheesy or overdone. Just a beautiful setting, great music, and a feeling that was intimate, personal, and warm. When we saw the venue, it was an instant coup de foudre — a countryside estate that felt elegant, effortless, and deeply us.

What styling and visual elements worked best? (could be things, the florals, particular hire products or your marquee, etc., something the stylist created or simply just the scenic beauty of your location or the existing design of your venue).

When we began working with Mona and Jad, their vision was crystal clear: they wanted a wedding to be remembered not for excess or spectacle, but for music, connection, and a kind of substance that transcends trends. No show-offs, no “Instagram moments” — just genuine beauty and joy.

They chose Provence because it truly reflects who they are — it is a region that embodies understated elegance. Guided by that same philosophy, we crafted an experience that honored both venues: one for the welcome event and one for the wedding day itself.

The celebration began with a wow moment — an immersive experience inside a centuries-old quarry. Guests arrived stepping into this ancient space, closed for decades, where projections of the artist Klimt and soundscapes transformed stone walls into a living canvas. Walking through this surreal environment of music and light, they emerged into the open-air section of the quarry, where Provençal-style buffets, coral and terracotta florals, and a live band from Los Angeles set the stage for an unforgettable summer night. Later, the magic continued inside the quarry for an after-dinner gathering filled with late-night wonder.

For the wedding day, the couple chose Le Mas des Poiriers, the very essence of Provençal spirit. It’s not a venue for everyone — you have to feel its soul, its quiet sophistication, its devotion to detail and hospitality. Normally suited for intimate events, we transformed it into the perfect backdrop for 270 guests, carefully designing layouts, décor, and flow to harmonize with its geometry and natural beauty.

Upon arrival, guests were welcomed into what felt like a quintessential French country home, shaded by iconic plane trees. The ceremony took place at the end of a cypress-lined path — the perfect stage for Mona’s entrance with her father. Floral design played a key role: arrangements were conceived as an extension of the garden itself, blending seamlessly with the existing landscape so that nothing felt “decorated,” only naturally beautiful.

Mona and Jad are the kind of clients who value meaning over appearance — and it shows. They chose the renowned Potel & Chabot for catering, ensuring a culinary experience of the highest level. After an exquisite cocktail reception, guests were invited to dinner in a part of the estate surrounded by vineyards. As they walked through the park, beneath centuries-old trees and a soft Provençal breeze, the atmosphere was nothing short of poetic.

Here is the dinner menu:

Starter

Le Homard Asperges Blanches (White asparagus, smoothed celery, Brittany Bleu Lobster, seasonal fruits, vegetable shavings)

Main

Seabass Dahlia (Gnocchetti, Gino tomatoes, zucchini balls, Niçoise Olives, poached pears and peaches. Sharp Thai broth mounted in butter)

Dessert

Le cratere de fruits rouge (Red fruits jelly, fresh berries, vegan vanilla ice cream, caramelized almonds)

The dinner setting reflected the same philosophy: no ostentation, only quiet luxury. A tent with raw wooden flooring and pale olive drapery, open on three sides to let guests admire the sunset over the vines. Discreet, graceful, and deeply romantic — it framed the couple, their friends, and the love surrounding them in the most authentic way.

The wedding dinner was a masterpiece in itself, but the final surprise — the second after-party — became the highlight of the night. Around 2 a.m., guests discovered a hidden entrance leading to a secret tent tucked away in the garden. Closed on all sides but open to the sky, it glowed with warm orange tones and a striking central sphere — a contemporary, unexpected design element that broke from the previous aesthetic. It was bold, it was daring — the perfect ending to a night that carried on until sunrise.

Tell us about your vendors. Were there any standout suppliers you would like to make special mention of?

Our vendors were truly incredible — from the photographers and florist to the food, the music, and of course the venue itself. Everything came together so seamlessly.

Tell us about your main outfits, what was unique, and is there a story?

I wore a custom Miu Miu gown for the wedding, and later changed into a Wed Studio two-piece and another by Super Yaya for my after party look — each look felt like a different facet of the celebration.

Was there a favourite moment (or two) that you will treasure always?

But honestly, what made the day unforgettable was the energy. Our friends and family brought so much love and joy; it felt like one big celebration of life and connection. It was truly magical.”
