Tell us how you met each other? John and I met 10 years ago at a mutual friend’s house. At the time, I thought John looked like such a bad boy with his shaved head, but he turned out to be a darling.

How did you learn to design shoes? In my early 20s I worked in interior design, which I loved, but I couldn’t get rid of this nagging shoe thing in the back of my mind. I’d always loved shoes, and was fascinated by their design, texture and materiality.
