Georgia Jay is the epitome of practical luxury, redefined by the creative genius of designer Georgia Davison. With a cool and considered approach, this brand has won the hearts of fashion-forward individuals who crave understated yet thoughtful leather goods.
The secret to Georgia Jay‘s success lies in its unwavering commitment to sustainability, longevity, and consideration. Each season, the brand adds new styles and hues to its ever-evolving collection of accessories, made in New Zealand from deadstock leather. It’s no wonder that these pieces are coveted by those who seek out ethical fashion that makes a statement.

To achieve their ambitious vision, Georgia Jay‘s founder and her sister, Ruby, embarked on an adventure to Milan, where they participated in Lineapelle, the world’s premier leather exhibition. But that wasn’t all: they also journeyed to the small villages of Montebello and Lucca to connect with key leather suppliers and artisans. It was an experience that allowed them to immerse themselves in the leather processing and tanning aspect of the manufacturing process, which they don’t handle in-house.
Davison explains that the brand has an exceptional relationship with its Italian suppliers, working closely with them to develop and refine new articles and color palettes together. The result? A brand that embodies ethical practices while remaining at the forefront of the fashion industry.

Prepare to be swept away by Georgia Jay‘s latest Fall Winter collection, brought to life by the talented photographer Nicole Brannen in Tawharanui. The breathtaking coastal backdrop provides the perfect canvas for the all-new autumnal palette, featuring a stunning range of hues from Cherry and Clay to Chalk, Soot, and Soft Sunshine.
Imbued with a contemporary edge in rich tones, the collection welcomes three new styles – Boobie Baguette, Jeanne and Gigi.
The Boobie Baguette, crafted from soft and supple Italian Nappa leather, features double-sculpted curves that mirror the female silhouette. It’s a relaxed bag that can be worn snugly underarm or stylishly wrapped across the body thanks to its adjustable leather shoulder strap.

The Jeanne is a fresh take on the brand’s signature asymmetry. The double-bonded shoulder strap meets angled darts, holding a softly structured body that can be worn on the shoulder or crossbody. Utility is key for the Jeanne, with two zip compartments and two additional drop pockets providing ample space for all your essentials.

The Gigi is Georgia Jay‘s first foray into practicality. This carryall-meets-laptop-bag is a cleverly disguised essential that provides maximum protection for your laptop. A softly padded internal sleeve and multiple pockets and compartments make it the perfect choice for busy professionals who want to stay stylish on the go.

Each piece in Georgia Jay‘s collection is designed with both form and function in mind. Adjustable straps, internal zip compartments, and drop pockets ensure that these bags are as practical as they are stylish. But that doesn’t mean compromising on the brand’s signature curves, angular lines, and relaxed ease.
