COVER The real wedding of Sophia & Alexandre (p.58) in France, photographed by Sam & Larissa.

April has a certain softness to it. The light shifts, the pace steadies, and there is a quiet sense of possibility in the air. It feels like a moment to pause, reflect and look ahead. For those who became engaged over the holiday season, it is a time of planning, of dreaming, and of shaping celebrations.

In this issue, we bring you a collection of weddings that span continents, styles and scales. From the romance of the Loire Valley and the effortless glamour of Capri to sunlit celebrations in California, the rolling landscapes of Tuscany and, closer to home here in New Zealand. Each story offers a distinct perspective. Together, they reflect the breadth of wedding celebrations today. Different budgets, different settings, different approaches, yet all rooted in meaning, connection and purposeful design.

We are especially proud to feature an interview with Majo and Xavi of La Dichosa, a photographic duo expanding the visual language of weddings. With a foundation in fashion and architecture, their work feels contemporary, intuitive and directional, capturing not just the day, but its atmosphere and feeling.

There is also a thoughtful conversation with Crane Brothers founder Murray Crane, who shares insight into the brand’s latest expansion, as a house grounded in heritage yet finely attuned to modern needs.

For those drawn to style, this issue delivers with two fashion editorials and a beauty story. In honour of the Year of the Horse, we travelled to Ness Valley Ranch in Clevedon, where four majestic horses set the tone for a fashion narrative that feels both grounded yet transporting. With rolling hills, hidden rivers and forest glades, the setting offers a sense of escape, just an hour from central Auckland. Now opening its gates to a select number of weddings each year, it is poised to become one of the country’s most sought-after wedding locations.

We also introduce a new wave of destination wedding photographers, image-makers whose work sits as comfortably in an editorial context as it does in a wedding album.

Our travels take us to the hinterlands of Byron Bay, where we visit Sun Ranch, an iconic mid-century retreat recently acquired by photographer James Rapper and partner Sophie. With impeccable taste and a creative vision, they are shaping the next chapter of this remarkable property, a place equally suited to honeymoons, intimate weddings or simply stepping away from everyday life.

Finally, we invite you inside a moment that means a great deal to us: our Together Journal ten year anniversary celebration. A night of bold colour, layered textures and thoughtful detail, shared with the community who have supported and shaped us. We are deeply grateful to everyone who has been part of our journey, and we look forward with genuine excitement to what the next decade will bring. Where we are feels good, and where we are heading feels even better.

Whether you are newly engaged or simply seeking inspiration, we hope this issue encourages you to create something that feels true to you.
