Tell us a little about yourselves, what you do, what you love, what is unique about you and relationship:

Let’s start from the beginning! 2 kiwi kids that both enjoy health and fitness which made absolute sense that we met at the gym (crossfit gym). Bizarre that we found each other across the ditch.

We learnt that we shared the same love for the beach and good food and found ourselves quickly soaking in the Gold Coast rays.

Tell us about your special day, was there a specific theme or style?

There wasn’t an agreed theme to our special day but from our outfits and decor you could say that we stumbled to create a very neutral, relaxed and beach theme ceremony. Our favourite details were the palms in pots. Our day suited and fit us quite well as we are such chilled people in general.

Tell us about your main outfits:

I always knew that I (bride) would wear something modest, elegant and easy. Receiving the best recommendation for shona joy dresses I sourced the perfect combo. It complimented my body well and provided the level of elegance I wanted. To go with my cream combo, hubby decided on a linen jacket and navy pants. It was pretty easy if I’m being honest how fitting our outfits were but also how easy it was to locate and source.

What were some of the most memorable/unique moments from the day:

A memorable and unique moment to our day was sharing it with family and friends via zoom. Covid threw such a spanner in the works for a lot of couples I’m sure, so though we couldn’t have them there with us, they were still able to be apart of our day.

Any advice for other couples planning to spend the rest of their lives together:

Advice to other couples is to stick together. You will go through changes, you’ll grow but the best thing is you have someone to do all of those things with (some scary – having kids). Marriage is a commitment to all of those things. It’s beautiful.
