Hi its Val here, the bride and Harry, the groom. We are both chefs and pastry chefs from Melbourne.
How/where/when did you meet – and what were your first impressions?
So we met at our previous workplace, and I work as a pastry chef and harry work as a chef. We both didn’t really talk or even close after working for a year together. But one day, one of our colleagues kinda met us, and we decided to go on a coffee date. And there it is, from just a coffee date to something that I want for my future.
When did you first realise that this was someone you’d like to spend the rest of your life with?
After I know he’s really loved me, reliable, and always prioritised me over everything.
Was there a proposal? Tell us a little about it…
Yes, just an intimate proposal. He proposed to me one night while we had a movie date at home.

Dreamy, simple, minimalist, and bright.
What was one element you were happy to splurge on?
Everything
Did anything happen on your wedding day that you laugh about in hindsight (even if it was stressful at the time)?
Everyone is enjoying the party because that’s whats important.
Tell us about your main outfits, what was unique, is there a story?
I’m looking for something elegant, simple, and also exclusive design. Karen Willis Holmes is my first option semi customed dress and I fall in love instantly and got our dress in the first visit.
