Wellness, Connection & Community: A Morning with Sisters & Co. and Embody Me Oils
There’s nothing we love more than stepping out into the community and collaborating with our partners on events that inspire, uplift, and bring people together. This month, we joined Rodelle Payne and her team at Sisters & Co., one of Together Journal’s long-standing partners, for an elevated wellness experience in celebration of Embody Me Oils.
And what better way to start the day than at sunrise on Mount Maunganui Beach, stretching into the morning with yoga and a sound bath, surrounded by the rhythmic crash of the waves and the salty ocean air?
The event continued with an insightful talk by Embody Me Oils founder Sarah Reid, who shared her wisdom on women’s health, self-care, and the power of ritual in daily wellness.
From there, it was onto Gigi’s, the Sisters & Co. in-house café, for a beautifully curated nourishing breakfast, designed to fuel the body and set the tone for the day ahead. As we sipped on fresh juices and indulged in wholesome fare, the conversation flowed effortlessly—proof that moments of connection are just as vital to well-being as movement and mindfulness.
Spending time with our partners and customers—who we consider friends—is always a joy, but when it involves celebrating wellness in such a meaningful way, it feels even more special. Adding to the effortless style of the morning, our editor Greta Kenyon, wellness advocate and Ready&Reset founder Ester Cronin, and Sisters & Co. team member Paige Kearns were all dressed in by Sisters & Co. in Nagnata, the perfect fusion of fashion, function, and sustainability.
This event was a beautiful reminder that wellness is more than just a practice—it’s a lifestyle, a community, and a way of moving through the world with intention and care. And we can’t wait to do it all again.
